Agile Academy

How to enable a global team with diverse background to change towards working agile?

Challenge

The technology division of a large insurance company is changing their operating model towards agile software development practices. Roles, structures and ways of working are adapted based on a blueprint describing the target organization. In total, a couple of thousand people worldwide need to be enabled to understand this future operating model and be upskilled to succeed in their respective jobs.

Approach

Conves supported the conceptual design and implementation of an Agile Academy over a period of 10 months:

  • Analysis of the skills requirements in the target organization vs. existing agile knowledge
  • Design of role-specific learning journeys based on modular elements to ensure scalability
  • Operational end-to-end set-up of the Agile Academy (content, operations, marketing, etc.)
  • Deployment of skilling analytics to ensure high quality delivery and participant satisfaction
  • Steering of the go-live and safeguarding of continuous improvement towards positive impact
